For the most recent installment of Limewire´s exclusive EAR TO THE GROUND series of compilation albums, they have teamed up with some of their favorite independent and up-and-coming artists in the beautiful city of Berlin. EAR TO THE GROUND: BERLIN features nine tracks spanning a wildly diverse set of genres, highlighting the eclecticism that has been the calling card of Berlin´s vibrant urban culture since the end of the Cold War. Most of these Berlin-based artists aren´t even native to the city, or even to Germany for that matter. But the fact that the cast of musicians have come from far and wide to settle in the German capital serves as further evidence of Berlin´s importance as a haven for creativity and a true cosmopolitan hub.
